They screen submissions and give you feedback on what's working and what's not. Because of Taxi, my composing skills and my producing skills improved to industry standard. I know, because in the spring of 2007 I finally got my first exclusive publishing deal through a Taxi forward to an LA music publisher. And the Taxi Road Rally is, in my opinion, the best music conference bar none.
John Braheny: John's song, "December Dream," recorded by Linda Rondstadt and Fred Neil (back in the the day), and John's own solo album, plus years of nationwide live performances, were merely preludes to his ground-breaking, talent-development work with the [no longer existing, but still loved] "Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase". A great resource for songwriters & artists. I often recommend songwriters use John's critique service before investing money in demos.

Charles P. Hurowitz: Charles (a.k.a. “Casey”), a non-performing songwriter, is fast gaining recognition in the music world with a string of successes under his belt. He has a special skill for unique and expressive lyrics and memorable hooks. Already a veteran of numerous publishing deals, Charles’ skills have been recognized with artist cuts, a film placement, inclusion on compilation CD’s and recognition on music industry websites. Charles was featured in an “Insider Report” in the well-known book Songwriter’s Market (2003).
Anne Murray: Anne has delighted millions of fans around the world with her music, and has been an inspiration to many Canadian artists.
Dawn Langstroth: A few years ago, I was priviledged to work with Dawn for a short time and I am so pleased to see her blossoming into the artist she is meant to be. Her beautiful voice and soulful songs are turning a few music industry heads - keep a close eye on this up and coming Canadian artist!
Gordon Lightfoot: I fell in love with Gord's music years ago... one of the best Canadian songwriters there is, he remains a huge inspiration to me.
